Converted barn near Rosenheim, Germany

Christine and Elke Hamberger are sisters who share the dream of idyllic country life. They found a way to fulfill that dream in a converted barn near Rosenheim. The conversion resulted in a double house with space and privacy for two families. For Elke Hamberger and her husband Franz-Xaver Kreupl, both architects, it was the ideal solution. Christine's husband is also an architect, so there was no lack of expertise to make the project work.
